Alex Nelmes

Experience – Alexandra started her legal career with Higgs Newton Kenyon Solicitors in August 2020, following completion of her Law degree at the University of Liverpool. As a trainee solicitor at the firm, Alexandra is currently completing her period of reconsider training and is due to qualify as a solicitor in March 2024.

In addition to completing her training contract with the firm, Alexandra is also completing her Legal Practice Course at Liverpool John Moores University. She is due to complete her Legal Practice Course in August 2023.

As a trainee solicitor in the firm’s Actions Against The Police Department, Alexandra acts for clients on a number of matters including false arrest and imprisonment, negligence, assault/battery, and trespass claims against police forces throughout England & Wales. Alexandra is passionate about helping individuals who have been wronged by the police.

Once Alexandra qualifies as a solicitor, she hopes to continue her carer with the firm working within the Actions Against The Police Department, achieving justice for those who have suffered mistreatment from the police.

Interests – Outside of the office, Alexandra enjoys yoga, jigsaw puzzles and going to the beach.
