Michelle Armstrong

Experience – Michelle joined the firm in December 2013 as a Paralegal within the Personal Injury Department, handing cases predominately allocated to the Fast Track. Within a short period of her employment, she was promoted to Team Leader within her department in August 2014.

Michelle brings over 13 years experience to her department having started her career in the legal sector in 2006. Over this time, Michelle has gained experience in handling matters involving high value road traffic accidents, occupier’s, public and employer’s liability cases.  Michelle has also dealt with a number of accidents abroad involving foreign Defendants.

As a result of the experience gained, Michelle can risk assess cases within her department and establish whether matters meet the criteria to commence Court proceedings. Michelle is known for a high success rate when her cases are taken to trial.  

As a manager, Michelle is responsible for the smooth running of her department, assisting each member on a daily basis, offering advice on how to progress their respective matters further, with the aim of achieving settlement or commencing Court proceedings.

During Michelle’s employment within the firm she has received many awards for her achievements, including hitting and exceeding monthly and yearly billing targets. In addition, Michelle has won the Firm’s Employee of the Year award on two occasions.

Interests – Outside of the office Michelle enjoys spending time with her family and socialising with friends as well being keen on the odd spa weekend.
