Experience – Craig has a dual role within the firm as head of both the Criminal Injuries and Consumer Debt departments.
Craig began his legal career dealing with Criminal Injury matters in 2008, spending some time working with a well-established national firm, before qualifying as a solicitor and becoming a partner at HNK. Throughout his career he has dealt with a range of high value cases, obtaining awards in excess of £100,000 for his clients.
Whilst Craig accepts instructions on a range of cases, he predominantly specialises in the area of sexual abuse and has dealt with a number of high-profile cases in recent years. He has also dealt with a number of cases on behalf of victims of both the Tunisia terror attack in 2015 and the Manchester Arena terror attack in 2017.
Craig is responsible for conducting our client’s CICA Appeal Tribunals and has a 100% record against the CICA on appeal. Craig has an understanding of the sensitivity and level of sympathy required to assist innocent victims throughout the progression of their case. Craig’s knowledge of this area of law, coupled with his ability in legal advocacy, ensures all of his clients receive the highest standard of service.
As a secondary role within the firm, Craig also heads up the Consumer Debt department. Craig is responsible for overseeing the firm’s involvement in challenging consumer debts on behalf of our clients with some of the largest financial institutions in the UK and challenging the validity of their legal agreements. To date, the department has successfully written off over £1,000,000 (1 Million) worth of debts for our clients following successful challenges regarding the validity of credit agreements.
Interests – Outside of the office, Craig enjoys spending time with his family, travelling with his Fiancée and most importantly spending time with his dog Cooper.
